Sovereign God,
my Peace and my Joy.

The one thing I ask of You, Lord --
this is what I seek --
that I may dwell in Your house all the days of my life,
to gaze upon Your beauty, O Lord, and to seek You in Your temple.

My cry, my one desire
is to be where You are, Lord,
where there is no pain and no suffering, no hurting people, no confusion or chaos;
where we will rejoice and sing with the angel voices all the days of our lives.

Sovereign God,
my Peace and my Joy,
my hope is in You only.
